BYD has officially launched the Sealion 07 DM-i in China, a mid-sized SUV poised to make waves in the global market. With a competitive price range of 169,800 to 205,800 yuan (approximately $23,500 to $28,500 USD), this SUV is set to challenge established players like the Tesla Model Y, Li Auto L6, and Toyota Highlander. The Sealion 07 DM-i is a sister model to the all-electric Sealion 07 EV and the fourth model in BYD’s Sealion family, also the newest member of BYD’s Ocean series.

Advanced Hybrid Technology: Built on BYD’s fifth-generation DM hybrid technology (DM 5.0) for lower fuel consumption, offering a remarkable CLTC pure-electric range of up to 150 km and a combined range of 1,320 km. It’s powered by a 1.5T engine with a 60 L fuel tank and achieves an impressively low NEDC fuel consumption of just 4.7L/100km in hybrid mode.
Luxurious and Innovative Interior: Experience cutting-edge features such as an optional “Ling Yuan” in-car drone system, DiPilot driver assistance (available in two versions: DiPilot 100 with a triple-camera setup and DiPilot 300 with laser radar), a 26-inch AR head-up display, and a 15.6-inch rotating touchscreen running the DiLink 100 system.
